welcome to the newcastle school of theology for ministry The Newcastle School of Theology for Ministry was established in 2006. Since then over 200 participants have graduated from our programmes, and we currently have over 120 participants training with us. Most participants are studying on a part-time basis in the Bishop's Certificate and Diploma in Theology for Ministry programmes, designed to provide strong leadership foundations for all lay leaders in the Diocese. Some participants are engaged in a specialised short course of ministry skills training in one of a number of available streams. Other participants are in formation for ordination, or continuing ministerial education after ordination. We welcome you as you explore this website.
